About Me

Hi, I’m Dori.

As a lifelong artist my most vital quality is curiosity. I love learning and I love teaching. Since I was a teenager and over the decades my inquisitiveness led me into investigations with spirituality, psychology, art, and all manner of fields that fed the growth of a creative soul. My self-propelled education has inspired the integrative Without a Net program. 

The program has developed over decades as I’ve guided people to fulfill their hopes for more freedom, joy, and grounded wisdom in their lives.

With my husband Scott Bennett, I own Red Dot Gallery in Birmingham, Alabama. Scott is a ceramic artist, and I am an oil painter. Red Dot is our working studio, art teaching space and gallery. I have written three books, and my paintings have been exhibited at galleries, festivals, and museums across the country. My bio has the full scoop.
