Gain insight.

My original intention with the cards was to be more honest with myself and gain deeper self-awareness. Below are ways of practicing with the cards to explore your inner states and access the rewards they ultimately contain.

Ways to play.

  • Drawing cards.

    Use the cards for daily readings. Pick a card each day. Use the User Guide for help. If you feel stumped, hop over to the Community and see what how others have interpreted your card. See how meaning changes each time you look at your card.

  • Keep a journal.

    Get in the habit of writing about your daily card pick. Keep a card journal and write about how you related to each card, what it taught you, what it inspired. The more cards you’ve written about, the more it will validate your discoveries, facilitate breakthroughs, and expand your ideas.

  • Pick a stack.

    Go through the deck in the morning and pick out all the cards that describe your current mind states. Use the fact that the cards are literally separate from you to as a prompt to stand back from your story and open up sapce for a fresh take on your day.

  • See relationships.

    Pick two cards and talk about the relationship between them. Pay attention to how your description relates to current relationships in your life. Write about and share your findings.

  • Have a conversation.

    Pick a card and have a conversation with it. Ask it anything you want to know about yourself or your situation. Write down the conversation and let the questions and answers flow freely.

  • Share your findings.

    Gaining self-awareness with the cards is exponentially helped by sharing your insights with others. A group of like-minded inner explorers offers the ideal setting for getting the most from the deck on many levels. Join the Community or form your own.

Have fun inventing your own games and practices for self-introspection. For some, seeing  a new purpose for the cards comes naturally. Let them speak to you. 

The more open you are to going with your first impressions, the more the cards will unlock your subconscious. But no worries: you can go as deep or as light as you please.
